Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026 · YouMyApp by JK Design
1. Acceptance
By using YouMyApp (“the Site”), you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.
2. Service
The Site lists open-source web apps found on GitHub and lets you run them in your browser. It acts as a host and a directory: it does not edit the apps, which run locally on your device.
3. Free access and advertising
The Site is free. Advertising spaces are displayed to cover costs.
4. Third-party apps and licences
Each app belongs to its authors and is distributed under its own open-source licence, shown on its page and in About; licence files are provided with the builds. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights those licences grant you. Trademarks belong to their respective owners.
5. Your content and responsibility
Files, images and documents you open in the apps stay on your device. You are responsible for holding the rights to use them (see the Copyright notice) and for keeping backups of your work.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the Site to break the law, to infringe third-party rights, to attack or overload it, or to try to bypass its technical protections.
7. No warranty and liability
The Site and the apps are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. JK Design is not liable for data loss or damage resulting from their use, nor for the content, availability or behaviour of third-party apps and sites. For a problem with an app, use the issue tracker of its repository.
8. Availability
The Site may be changed, interrupted or removed at any time. Apps may be updated or withdrawn when their authors publish new releases.
9. Intellectual property
The Site’s own design, code and texts belong to JK Design, unless otherwise stated. The hosted apps remain the property of their authors, under their licences.
10. Data and privacy
Your files are never sent to a server by the Site. See the Privacy policy for details.
11. Changes
These Terms may be updated at any time; continued use means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the French courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
